Old Faces, New Places
• Chris Young (’03) is back in the Nats/Expos system as the 6’10” righthander was signed by Washington to a minor league deal with an invite to spring training.
• After sitting out the 2012 season to be with his pregnant wife, Leonard Davis (’08-’11) agreed to terms with the Winnipeg Goldeyes of the independent American Association.
• After a 2012 where he went 6-8 with 11 saves, Jim Ed Warden (’08) re-signed with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs for his fourth consecutive season with the team.
• Joe Bisenius (’10) signed with the American Association’s Lincoln Saltdogs for 2013. Last season Bisenius pitched for both Aguascalientes and Saltillo of the Mexican League going a combined 9-10 with a 4.92 ERA in 22 starts.
